So after some time to think it over I think I’m ready to place the definitive ruling on the 3D aspect of the movie.
It’s certain that the 3D is not the same you get with a movie like Avatar or Tintin which were made to be seen on 3D. But as far as 3D conversion goes, this is a great piece of conversion, and it is wonderfully done.
The 3D brings depth to the film, it gives the viewer a better sense of space, dimension and distance; it makes an inmersive experience even with a 13 year old movie.
It is woth it, if all 3D conversions were like this one, if all were had such an organic feeling like this; I would watch movies on 3D more often.
